Case Study

## INGEDRIVE MV900 transformerless drives commissioned on the first vessel of a new 30-ship generation of container vessels

- Ingeteam, together with electrical integrator Wärtsilä, have delivered and commissioned the first **INGEDRIVE MV900** transformerless drives on a new generation of modern 16,000 TEU container ships, marking an important step in the adoption of direct 6.6 kV medium-voltage solutions at sea
- This ongoing large-scale deployment is being carried out **in close collaboration with Wärtsilä**, the system integrator responsible for embedding the MV900 into each vessel’s electrical architecture, supporting the introduction of this technology under real operational conditions.
- The first vessel (now in operation), is **equipped with an INGEDRIVE MV900 unit**, fully integrated, tested, and performing as expected. A second vessel is currently undergoing sea trials, and production continues at a steady pace, with a new vessel scheduled for delivery each month.
